Dr. Mildred Pellens was co-author of the The opium problem with Dr. Charles E. Terry, published in New York by Bureau of Social Hygiene, Inc.'s Committee of Drug Addictions in 1928. Its purpose was to demonstrate "the professional and official opinion and attitude of the day as to medical and sociologic aspects of the problem" in the United States.
