Biographical History

Sprague (Harvard, M.D. 1922) was a cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and taught clinical medicine at the Harvard Medical School from 1927. He served as president of the American, New England, and Massachusetts Heart Associations, treasurer of the International Cardiology Foundation, and as president of the Boston Medical Library. His scientific papers include clinical reports of cardiac disorders in children and in adults; some also discuss dietary and emotional factors and the problems of employment of patients with heart disease.
