Born in Detroit, Dec. 25, 1376, son of William J. Stapleton. Grad from Michigan College of Medicine and Surgery, 1900, Detroit College of Medicine Pharmacy Dept., 1902, Detroit College of Law, 1907. Lecturer and assistant Dean at Wayne State University, Pres. Wayne Co. Medical Society; 1925-26, ed. Wayne Co. Medical Soc. magazine, Wayne Co. physician 1905-1910. Named Foremost Family Physician in 1953. Married 1st Mamie Ireland and had David W. and Sally (Mrs.Richard) Hasse. Married 2nd Helen.
