Whaling vessel (250 tons), out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Henry S. West, on voyage from 8 June 1839 to 28 May 1841; owner-agent: Isaiah Burgess; built at Newbury, Mass., 1818; added to Westport fleet in 1844; bought back from Westport in 1856; lost 1858.
Whaling vessel, out of Westport, Mass., mastered by Hiram Nickerson (until taken ill and change of command on 7 Dec. 1851) and then Richard H. Fisher, on voyage 11 Sept. 1851-27 Apr. 1855 to the Okhotsk Sea and Lower California Coast whaling grounds; owner-agent: Henry Wilcox and Co.; built at Newbury, Mass., in 1818.
