Mamaroneck Preparative Meeting (Society of Friends : Orthodox : Mamaroneck, N.Y.)

Mamaroneck Preparative Meeting was reportedly established in 1716 by Flushing Monthly Meeting, however minutes are not kept until 1777. The meeting separated in 1828. The Hicksite bramch was discontinued in 1865 by Purchase Monthly Meeting and then re-established in 1884. The meeting was laid down again 7mo 1903. The Orthodox branch of Purchase Monthly Meeting met at Mamaroneck until at least 1917, though the last mention of the Mamaroneck Preparative Meeting was in 1912. It is unclear when it was laid down.
