The Seattle Branch of the National League of American Pen Women, a society of professional women engaged in creative work in writing, music, and visual arts, was formed in 1923 and disbanded in 2009. Queena Davison Miller, who was a member for 42 years, was President of the Seattle Branch from 1944-1946; fourth National Vice-President, 1946-1948; State of Washington President, 1948-1950; and editor of The Whistling Swan for seventeen years.
