Biographical History

Romney was born in Salt Lake City; attended University of Utah; served a mission to New Zealand, 1888-1892; returned to New Zealand as a mission president, 1911-1914; and was president of the Romney Lumber Co. for many years. He married Emma Frances Phillips and they had five children. Their daughter Vilate married Elder Antoine R. Ivins.
