Biographical History

Charles W. Holman was a journalist and editor who served as secretary of the National Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation. He managed the first conference on Social Centers in the U.S., Dallas, 1911; made a nationwide investigation of marketing methods for Farm and Ranch, 1912; served as editor at the University of Wisconsin Press Bureau, 1913-1915; organized and served as first secretary of the National Agricultural Organization.
