Bunnell, Clarence Orvel

C.O. Bunnell was employed by the Pacific Power and Light Company as a Special Farm Agent. He was located in White Bluff's, Washington in 1937. He had a great interest in Indian lore, the geology and points of prehistoric interest of Eastern Washington. Because of his interest, he was often asked to give lectures during the year to many local groups. In 1937, he sent sketches of some of the petroglyphs that he had seen on cave walls near Maryhill, WA to Ernest N. Hutchinson, the Secretary of State. Mr. Hutchinson sent back copies of the original sketches. Mr. Bunnell continued to be involved with finding and preserving Indian lore along with the geological history of the region.
