Goldsbrow Banyar (1724-1815) was a lawyer who served, for varying periods, as deputy secretary of the Province of New York, deputy surveyor and auditor of His Majesty's revenues arising in the Colony of New York, register of the colonial court of chancery, and register and principal surrogate of the prerogative court. A Loyalist during the Revolution, he lived afterwards in Albany as a wealthy landowner.
