Robert D. Aldrich (1920-1983), born in Concord, Michigan, worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Throughout his life, he maintained and cultivated an interest in the people, organizations, and history of his hometown of Concord. He collected widely: manuscript, printed, and photographic materials, anything that related to Concord or to western Jackson County in general.
