Biographical History

The Texas Archeological Society (TAS) was established in 1928, and has played a significant role in the scientific investigation and observation of Texas' past through annual field school events. The TAS publishes the Bulletin of the Texas Archeological Society, established in 1929, and the Texas Archeological Newsletter, established in 1957.

The Norman Flaigg Field School is an annual event and enables aspiring archeologists to gain field experience.
