Biographical History

Renouard's first voyage was on the "Pandora", which was commissioned at Chatham, 10 Aug., 1790, to find the mutineers of the Bounty. At Otaheite they captured some of the mutineers, and a boat they had built, which became the Pandora's tender, with nine men on board, including Renouard. The tender became separated from the Pandora near the Navigatores, and after many hardships the crew reached Batavia.
