Rosson House is an historic home located in downtown Phoenix that was constructed by Roland and Flora Rosson in 1894. Roland Rosson was a US Army Surgeon who maintained a practice in Phoenix after his discharge from the army in 1878. He served as Mayor of Phoenix in 1895 and moved to Los Angeles in 1897.
Restoration of the Rosson House was completed in 1980 at a cost of approximately $750,000 with funds supplied by the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, the State of Arizona, the City of Phoenix and private citizens. Rosson House is one of a group of restored historic homes located at the Heritage Square historic district.
