Conceptual artist, sculptor, educator, composer, and writer; San Diego, Calif.; b. 1949 in New London, Conn. Educated at San Francisco State College. Lived and worked in San Diego, Calif. Also active in Germany.
Writer, musician, conceptual artitst, and the founder of Fluxus West, Friedman is a principal participant in the Fluxus movement which flourished during the late 1960s.
Friedman attended Shimer College and received degrees from San Francisco State College (BA & MA) and the United State International University (Ph.D.).
