Biographical History

James Holt Haslam was born 16 September 1825 in Bolton, Lancashire, England. He married Elizabeth Baugh in 1870 in England, Ann Redford in 1869 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mary Matilda Baugh in 1846 in St Louis, Missouri. He died 13 March 1913 Wellsville, Cache, Utah.

James Holt Haslam (1825-1913) was a Mormon pioneer and blacksmith. He was also the express rider dispatched to Brigham Young for instructions in the days before the 1857 Mountain Meadows Massacre.
