Found in a miscellany of newsclippings collected by the late Nan Phillips. Malcolm Ellis, 1890-1969, feature writer for The Bulletin on historical and political affairs usually under pseudonym EK Dum. Ellis is best known for his writing on early Australian history e.g. the biographies Lachlan Macquarie, Francis Greenway and John Macarthur.
