Biographical History
In 1975, the "California Horticultural Journal" was enlarged, redesigned and its title was changed to "Pacific Horticulture." W. George Walters and Elizabeth McClintock were two of its key promoters. The board of directors of the Pacific Horticultural Foundation, the Northwest Horitcultural Society (Seattle), and the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden distribute the magazine to their members. The Friends of Pacific Horticulture have supported the magazine since 1980.
