Biographical History
Wendell Robert Carr, professor and lawyer, attended Texas Christian University from 1956-1960. He received his Harvard A.M. in 1962 and his Ph.D. in 1967. While at Harvard, Carr served as a Teaching Fellow in History from 1964-1966, as Instructor in History from 1966-1969, and as Assistant Professor of History from 1969-1972. From 1971-1972 he also held the position of Research Fellow in West European Studies. After leaving Harvard, Carr taught history for several years at the University of Wisconsin before returning to Harvard to study law. In 1978, he received his Harvard J.D., after which he practiced corporate law for several firms in Boston.
Wendell Robert Carr attended TCU from 1956 to 1960. He majored in History and English and minored in Philosophy. He went on to Harvard University, where he earned a PhD in Intellectual History and a JD from Harvard Law School. He taught History for three years at Harvard and six at the University of Wisconsin and then practiced corporate law for thirty years at the firms of Gaston & Snow and Gadsby Hannah LLP in Boston.
