Biographical History

John J. Casserly, a journalist, was bureau chief for the International News Service, United Press International and ABC Television News in Rome from 1955-1964. He was the Washington, D.C. general correspondent for ABC from 1964-1968 before seving as senior editor of President Ford's speechwriting staff from 1975-1976.
