Biographical History

The Fugs were a group of poet-musicians who performed throughout the 1960s. During their theatrical live performances, they satirized everything from political involvement and patriotism to rock and roll, from war and hate to super-abundant love. The Fugs consisted of three members: Tuli Kupferberg, Ken Weaver, and Ed Sanders.

From the description of Fugs Archive, ca. 1963 - ca. 1971. (New York University, Group Batchload). WorldCat record id: 58785163
