Biographical History

Missionary; born on October 8, 1927; graduated from Wheaton College with highest honors in 1949; went to Ecudor in 1952, where he first worked in Shandia; married Elisabeth Howard, also a missionary in Ecuador; they had one daughter; efforts on January 8, 1956 to make contact with the Auca Indians resulted in Elliot's death along with Peter Fleming, Ed McCully, Nate Saint and Roger Youderian.
