Residents of Orangeburg County, S.C.; involved in cotton farming and state politics. Collection centers around Lee Bonaparte Connor, son of Lawrence Summerfield and Susan Zeigler Connor. L.B. Connor married married Georgia Shuler in 1891. He farmed cotton in Parler and Elloree (Orangeburg County, S.C.), Like his father, L.B. Connor served in the General Assembly, representing Orangeburg County in the S.C. House of Representatives, 1921-1922, and also serving as commissioner of Elloree township.
