Biographical History

William W. Jones was a Union soldier in a unit which was training and drilling at Camp Kearney, near New Orleans, Louisiana, during October of 1862. His unit was reviewed by General Benjamin F. Butler in New Orleans on October 18, 1862. Family members include his sister, Mary H. Jones, and an uncle "John."
