James Starkey (1879-1958), better known as Seumas O'Sullivan, was an Irish poet and editor of The Dublin magazine.

Seumas O'Sullivan was the pseudonym of Irish writer James Sullivan Starkey. He was also founding editor of the "Dublin Magazine". William Kirkpatrick Magee (1868-1961) was an Irish writer who wrote under the name John Eglinton.

O'Sullivan was born James Sullivan Starkey. His literary career began around 1902 with the publication of several poems. He edited THE TOWER PRESS BOOKLETS and from 1923 to 1958 he edited THE DUBLIN MAGAZINE.
