Armistead Burt (1802-1883) was a planter, lawyer, and U.S. Representative from Abbeville, S.C.

Armistead Burt, son of Francis Burt, of Pendleton District, moved to Abbeville and became U.S. Congressman 1843-1853. He married Martha Calhoun, niece of John C. Calhoun.
