Biographical History

James Warbasse was a Brooklyn physician and socialist who, with his wife, Agnes Dyer Warbasse, was interested in labor, social conditions, and cooperative movements. His writings reflect his protests of war and its evils. Agnes Warbasse was a board member of the Woman's Peace Party of New York City. Both were active in The American Union Against Militarism.
