Biographical History

Private Ben P. Gulledge served in Company I of the 118th Infantry of the American Expeditionary Forces in France during World War I. Gulledge, a North Carolinian, was wounded on the battlefield on 17 October 1918 and spent several months recuperating at a hospital in England.
