Biographical History
Carpenter was born Nov. 29, 1952 in St. Cloud, Minn. Prior to joining the Wildife Services, formerly known as Animal Damage Control, under the Fish and Wildlife Service, he gained invaluable experience working as a trapper and sheepherder for nearly twenty years. In 1992, Carpenter began working for Wildlife Services as a wildlife specialist in Nevada. Later, he worked in Montana (1994-1999), then moved to North Dakota where he presently serves. Carpenter, a life-long fur trapper and avid outdoorsman, married his wife Karen in 2001.
