Biographical History

Konstantin Hierl (b. Feb. 24, 1875, Parsberg, Bavaria-d. Sept. 23, 1955, Heidelberg) was a major figure in the administration of Nazi Germany, head of the Reich Labour Service, and an associate of Adolf Hitler before he came to power. He was a high-ranking member of the National Socialist German Workers Party when it took power in 1933 and remained head of the Reich Labour Service until the end of World War II. After the War he was tried and found guilty of “major offenses” and spent five years in a labor camp.
