Biographical History

Margo Post Marshak assumed the position of Vice President for Student Affairs in 1991. Her responsibilities included overseeing student housing and residential life, student dining, graduate and undergraduate student life and activities, the office of career services, the center for music performance, the office for international students and scholars, the student health and counseling services, and a host of other related activities. Additionaly, she guided a $300 million program of renovation and new construction of residence halls, classrooms, language labs, dining facilities, student centers and health services. In September 2001 she left NYU to assume a similar position at the University of Chicago.
