Biographical History

This regiment marched through Louisiana and into Mississippi, then returned home to Wayne County, Ohio, in 1864. The unit was on the City Belle when it was captured on the Red River in Louisiana. Places named by the author include "Camp Plaquemine", Baton Rouge, Alexandria (Miss.), Fort St. Phillip, Morganza and New Orleans.
