Haley family.

The Haley family lived in Biddeford and in Hollis during the time these legal papers were executed. The Haley names mentioned in these papers are Benjamin of Biddeford, Silvester of Biddeford, Samuel of Biddeford, Joseph of Biddeford, Sylvester of Biddeford, Noah of Hollis, and Joseph Haley 3rd of Hollis. It was impossible to determine the relationships between these people since there were so many Haleys living in Biddeford and Hollis. The only relationships mentioned in the deeds are that Samuel was the son of Benjamin (1743 deed) and Silvester was the son of Samuel (1782 deed).
