Irish poet Patrick MacDonogh [MacDonagh] (1902–1961) produced his literary works over a thirty year period during the twentieth century.

Irish poet and editor Seumas O'Sullivan (1879–1958) was born James Sullivan Starkey (1879–1958). He established and edited the Dublin Magazine, which published many works during the Irish Literary Renaissance.
