Biographical History

The Parker Breakfast Club was started in the early 1970s by a group of individuals from Parker, Colo., who felt that Parker's voice was not being heard in Douglas County politics. The club originally met in a church basement, and its members cooked breafast while meeting with Castle Rock people. In later years it met at an area restaurant. Over the years the topics discussed have included Outward Bound, Habitat for Humanity, Up with People, Citizens against Crime, political candidates, and the growth of Parker.
