Robert H. Redding was a western novelist. He was the author of several western novels between the 1980s and 2000s, including "The Partners" (1981). He also wrote under the pen name Max Beeton and Walter Denver.
Robert H. Redding, born in 1920, came to Alaska with his mother in 1928, and resided at Fairbanks. Having taught himself to write, he launched a neighborhood newspaper at age 14, and had an early poem published in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. He continued his interest in writing and a number of his pieces have been published in various magazines and in the Heartland section of the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.
