Biographical History

Charles Petch received a B.Sc. in entomology at OAC in 1912. He was the first officer in charge of economic insect control for the Federal Government in Quebec. He developed a large orchard outside of Hemmingford, Que. and exhibited apples and gladioli in many exhibitions.
