Biographical History

French social worker, Vieillot worked with the Red Cross during World War I, studied social work in Boston and N.Y.C., and was the first Frenchwoman to receive an M.S.W. from Simmons College. She founded the Juvenile Court in Paris, a home for young delinquents, and went on to head schools of social work in Strasbourg and later in Rouen.
