Biographical History
Incorporated in 1885 under the laws of Washington Territory, the company (first named Eastern Washington Railway Company, until 1886) operated a line between Marshall (Wash.) and Genesee (Idaho), with branches from Pullman Junction (Wash.) to Lewiston (Idaho), and from Belmont to Farmington (Wash.). It was deeded to NP in 1899, then stricken from the records of Washington State in 1909 for failure to pay annual license fees.
