Isaac Skillman Mulford (1799-1873), a Camden, N.J. (Camden County) physician, who began his practice in 1823, was a leader in the Camden community and active in various medical societies, including a term as president of the Camden County Medical Center. Dr. Camden wrote Civil and Political History of New Jersey (1848), studied the causes of cholera, spoke out in favor of prison reform, and supported the anti-slavery and temperance causes.
