Biographical History

The American Lutheran Church (ALC) met biennially as a delegate body in October, the time and place of which was determined by the president and the Board of Trustees. Among the many responsibilities of the ALC secretary was the writing of the minutes of the general conventions, and the notification of all boards and committees of all resolutions relative to their work promptly after the adoption of such resolutions.
