Biographical History
Paul A. Rosenbaum was born on December 29, 1942 in New York City. He received a B.S. from Springfield College in 1964 and a law degree (J.D.) from the George Washington School of Law in 1967. His professional and community organizational affiliations included the American Bar Association, and the Big Brothers of Battle Creek, Michigan. Elected in 1972, Rosenbaum was a member of the State House of Representatives from 1973 to 1978. During his tenure, Rosenbaum served on this committees: Drainage, Taxation, Youth Care, Youth and Student Participation (1973-1974), and Judiciary (1975-1978). He was also on the Supreme Court Committee to Review all Local Court Rules, and the Michigan Rules of Evidence Committee (c. 1975-1976). He was also the vice chairman of the Criminal Justice and Consumer Affairs Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures (c. 1975-1976). In addition, he participated in the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (c. 1975-1976).
