Biographical History
Founded in 1938, the School of Business Administration originally held its classes at the Boston College Intown College. During the 1940-1941 academic year, the school moved to the Chestnut Hill campus and was renamed the College of Business Administration. In 1958, the Graduate School of Business was established as a separate program and later merged with the College of Business Administration in 1963. The program was renamed the School of Management in 1968. In 1989, the school was renamed the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management.
