Biographical History

The Tuesday Morning Class is a women's cultural study group. It was originally founded in 1895 in Denver, Colo. as the Tuesday Literary Society by Mrs. George Vosbaugh. Mrs. Vosbaugh invited six of her friends to hear J.H Kappes speak about his experiences during the student revolt in Germany. The focus of the group has always been educational. By 1906, there were twenty-six members. Currently the Tuesday Morning Class has approximately 120 members.
