Biographical History

Eve Titus was born in New York City in 1922. She first worked as a concert pianist before turning to writing, her second love. She is especially well-known for her books about Anatole, the cultured mouse, all of which were illustrated by Paul Galdone. Two of her books were runners-up for the Caldecott Award.
