Writer, poet, and social visionary, Angela Morgan (1875-1957) was probably born in Yazoo County, Mississippi. A reporter in Chicago and New York, Morgan's poems, articles, and short stories appeared in most of the major magazines of the time. Between 1914 to 1951 she published one novel, a collection of short stories, and some fourteen books of poems, including Creator Man (1929).
Angela Morgan was an American author, poet, and journalist born circa 1875 in Mississippi. Morgan had performances of her poems and songs for which she wrote the lyrics.
Angela Morgan (1873-1957) was an American writer active in the peace movement. She was one of forty American women who participated in the International Congress of Women at the Hague, 1915. She was a founding member of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. Her papers are in the Michigan Historical Collections at the University of Michigan.
Poet Angela Morgan was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Alwyn and Carol Morgan Baldwin Morgan. For biographical information, see Who Was Who in America, vol. III.
