Professor.

Lisa Marmorek (Kuhmerker) was born in Vienna, Austria in 1926. She immigrated to the United States in 1938 and married Bruno Kuhmerker in 1948. She received her Doctorate of Education and Psychology from Yale and become a professor of Education at Hunter College in New York City until she retired. Lisa Kuhmerker was a leader in the field of Moral Psychology and Education. In 1986 she left New York City to work for Harvard University's Center for Moral Development and Education. Kuhmerker died in Boston, Massachusetts, 1998.
