Construction of the church began in 1896, being completed and dedicated in 1902. (Conway) The Conway Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Congregation was organized April 6, 1895, with Rev. Tobias J. Moen of Bellingham as organizing pastor. The Conway church was built in 1905. The Ladies' Aid was formed August 18, 1894 and contunues to this day as the Fir-Conway Lutheran Church Women. The Sunday School was organized in 1996, and religious summer school began in 1904.
