Lawyer, of Elizabeth, Union (earlier Essex) County, New Jersey; born 1809, the son of Isaac H. Williamson; graduated from the College of New Jersey (later Princeton University), 1827; admitted to the bar as an attorney in 1830 and as a counselor in 1833; Prosecutor of the Pleas of Essex County, 1848-1852; Chancellor of New Jersey, 1852-1858 or 1859; married Elizabeth Beasley, sister of New Jersey Chief Justice Mercer Beasley; died 1892.
