Grey then set up his own practice which he continued through the l93Os. In addition to his work as a designer, he wrote architectural studies.

MYRON HUNT attended Northwestern University and M.I.T. During 1893-94 he studied and traveled in Europe. Upon returning to the United States he worked in the Boston office of Sheploy, Rutan and Coolidge. He began his architectural practice in Chicago in 1897 and came to Los Angeles in 1903. Between 1904 and 1910 he was associated with Elmer Grey. He practiced independently until 1920 when the firm of Hunt and Chambers was formed. This partnership continued until his death in 1952.
